Tennessee: Sources tell us that Jon Gruden remains the primary target. Although we have not verified, sources tell us that Gruden, among other things, has requested a $4 million salary pool for his assistants. Not sure how that works out but we are told that Tennessee will be having discussions with Butch Jones as well.

Yes, because that is what an AD does when he needs to hire a coach with 3 other SEC teams looking, the recruiting dead period fast approaching, and the end of the season days away.

If there isn't an announcement next week, then Gruden is gone.

At that point, hopefully we'll have a coach the following week after the conference championship games and hopefully it is a proven college HC i.e. Stoops or Patterson.
