I know exactly what you mean. I'm not 100% yet but the info which gave my confidence a boost didn't come from here either. Fingers crossed that the best coach possible is obtained for our Vols....whoever that may be! :)

P.S We are really gonna miss the pants Volly! :cray:

Not trying to be a jerk here, but check your records to see if Cheek's job was posted. Check to see if the UT HC job was posted after the Kiffin fiasco..........

I don't have any idea what UT's internal procedures require, but wanted to point out that they may differ from what TN law requires. I also believe, as was posted last night I think, that there are ways around any posting requirements that may exist, e.g., they can put someone to work under a MOU or LOI and not "officially" hire them until after the time for posting elapses. May be an issue of semantics, but there could be "requirements" that an HR professional at another school would not know about (and which make no practical difference, really).

That's just like the OU fans who trolled as OkStU fans. They set up a recruiting board, attracted tons of readers, and then shut it down the morning of signing day. One of the best troll jobs ever.

Where is this 4 coaches have to be contacted requirement listed?

I've read that they are required to post the job, yet it does not appear to be posted as of 5 minutes ago when I checked. Maybe someone else will have better luck finding the posting than I did.

John Pennington just said it's always been a longshot, if not even more unlikely. Pennington is the same fool that published an article Wednesday about the Vols being in "good" shape. How does nobody call him out on that? Heck, I don't have any idea who you are, if you merit any credibility to the site or if you even know who Jon Gruden is, but at least you've stayed consistent this entire time. You started predicting stuff long before I caught wind of any Gruden involvement, but everything I've heard pretty collaborates to what you're posting.

I guess my point is no in face contact would have happened this week regardless if gruden is done or not since the season isn't over. Now next week if no in face contact is taking place then it would mean gruden is done IMO

If Gruden leaks tonight....i jumping in my truck at 4am and driving down from Dayton, Ohio for the game tomorrow! What a crazy party it will be!

Maybe they'll rise from the ashes if something good happens. :dance2:

I have no doubt whatsoever the opportunity is there for him to come to UT. Whether he will or not, I guess I'll know when it's announced officially.
