Arky fans still believe he is coming...im in afghanistan with the ark national guard and ive had 2 tell me that their bloggers/"insiders" are saying they are announcing gruden as HC on sat day after lsu game

I'm not. I did a search on twitter for "Gruden" and her tweet popped up. Just thought it was interesting. Also saw one from Josh & Will saying they had a caller today saying it was done and Gruden would be announced Sunday. If they thought the caller was bogus I figure they wouldn't tweet it out.

What can I say? I'm addicted to this!!! Haha

How can a Vol even breathe the air in Bamaham! Do you hold your breath or have TN air delivered.

Yea i guess your right Strong would be able to recruit with sabin & miles & richt & be able to out scheme them on a weekly basis. Sorry i just dont see it but maybe im wrong

Richt definitely, Dont play Les enough and really not many coach's outscheme Saban. Strong would be a very good hire, especially if he could get Tee and a few other great recruiters and coach's. He would have the resources to hire a better staff and recruit at TN.

He said it in the context of Arkansas, but Bruin wants to consider it a blanket statement since he said "nobody has offered"

Mort is from Arkansas and was specifically addressing the rumor that Arkansas had offered Gruden.

How have you come to believe Dungy is a candidate?

I personally know an SEC insider, he said Peyton absorbed buyouts, including all exiting coaches to get Dungy as HC. That's all he would say. Ive trusted his word and the SEC has trusted him for 35 years. Gruden or Dungy? IMO it doesnt matter, both good coaches.

I agree except for hubbs. If he says that gruden is completely out IMO the AD has leaked that to him so he can let the fanbase down easily and in time o give the hire a fair shot in the court of public opinion.

Hubbs never said he was out, not today, yesterday or 3 weeks ago. He said he was a long shot from the beginning. He basically said he thought that it would be easier for UT to land other coaches. And I agree, but UT wants to do it right and they are not takign the easy way out...

Just wanted to know. Some don't realize that you have to separate hiring a coach and hiring assistants.

I am not saying this is 100% credible but thought I would share what I was told. My boss is friends with a booster who is a big donor and parks his $150000 boat beside the stadium and he like othera said coach is already hired and all he would say afterwards is buy a chucky doll for xmas

Haha... I'm not human apparently. At least that's what folks down here believe. Actually there are quite a few Vols down here. I think we were placed here by God to constantly ruin the day of all bammers!! I personally enjoy it and feel that my day isn't successful until that happens!!
