One thing for sure, it is an exciting time in Tennessee. For the first time in three years we have hope. I for one hope it is Gruden and most signs and information that I have dug up indicate it is a very good possibility. Of course, jealous opponents will quickly strike at that notion because they know if it is the case then Tennessee will be whipping their ass real soon again.; GBO

Why aren't you people believing the data points that we do have? Just because Hyams and the local media are unable to confirm something with their typical sources doesn't mean that ours are wrong. We have multiple mature long-time posters who are hearing this news from several different places. Just because Hyams et al. can't or won't crack the story is no reason to run around like a chicken with your head cut off. This time we have the scoop and they don't. That frustrates them, and some of them hope we don't get Gruden for that very reason.

You can choose to believe the local media, the OG group, other fan sites, or nothing at all. You choose nothing, you invest nothing. You choose "wrong", maybe you get a little (or a lot) disappointment.

If you choose to just go negative with the whole process, you probably need a new hobby. I have names that will make me happy, names I am "meh" about, and names that are gonna cost me a mattress. I choose to believe we get a/the "home run hire" because dwelling on our season or second tier choices is depressing as hell.

Life is too short, have some hope even if you get burned some times.

I am all for discussion, but when you discredit everything, that is not trying to find stuff out. I am still skeptical, because of the last few years, but discussing and what you do seems to look completely different to me...

Media members aren't going to break the story unless it is 100%, they have credibility at risk, if they break it and it isn't true, that's bad. At the same time, there is no denial on the other end, they are putting themselves in position to say "we knew something, but couldn't confirm", or "we knew all along" etc.

I agree, but that doesn't explain the panic on this board from those that should've been paying attention to who is saying what for the last several weeks.

I'm not. I did a search on twitter for "Gruden" and her tweet popped up. Just thought it was interesting. Also saw one from Josh & Will saying they had a caller today saying it was done and Gruden would be announced Sunday. If they thought the caller was bogus I figure they wouldn't tweet it out.

What can I say? I'm addicted to this!!! Haha
