some bum asking my friend for change on the street told him that Gruden is scheduled to volunteer at the homeless shelter next week. HE'S LOCKED UP!

The media in this area break everything with a call from the Athletic department once its official. I cant recall one instance where any one of them made an accurate prediction. They know as much as we do right now.

No one has ever said that, most are skeptical to a point and some argue just because they like to argue. That is where it gets aggravating.

But with all of the connections inside the program I KNOW Hyams and hubbs have, they still don't give Gruden a 5% chance of happening? There has to be a legit reason for that..

This is true. Was in Atlanta for last bowl game and forum members sat on each side of me. Thought that was pretty cool. Was at in-laws this weekend and bro-in-law starts telling me all this info about next coach and asked him where he heard and the replay "Volnation" :clapping:

I never understood people thinking he was going to the Titans. It was always Denver. He has a very close relationship with Elway and Denver is a better franchise and were more ready to be competitive and win.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you disagree with mine I get that. I can appreciate sound, logical discussions on our disagreement.

All these folks are claiming that Clay Travis is the big Gruden apologist that it's going to happen.
I just read his blog for today, and he's got a 30% chance on it coming to fruition.
I want it to happen as much as the next guy, but that's not exactly encouraging. And he's the Grudenite media darling?

I just don't believe Peyton would give the athletic dept. a **** ton of money unless he knows who the new hire is and has taken part in conversations concerning the new hire. I think it is done. It seems to me the papers have been signed and the athletic department has been working on financial matters. Why haven't we heard anything at all? This has been the weirdest coaching search I have seen at UT. We have literally heard nothing of relevance from the beginning. If we were interviewing coaches then it would leak out at some point. If it were done with Gruden ESPN, Gruden's agent, or Gruden would have already stated it. Think about it, do you think ESPN would prefer to stay silent on this matter if they knew he was staying on MNF? No, ESPN would prefer to dispel those rumors quickly.
