The talk radio shows today are so funny. They are obviously trying so hard to convince listeners , that JG isn't coming. Anyone with half a brain, can see right through the smoke lol.

My doubt is in part because they keep saying sooner rather than later because the media is getting too close, when in fact the media seems to be going away from gruden more.

It just seems like every day someone new in the media makes a comment about Gruden to UT. So far I haven't seen any Gruden to Arkansas comments from any respectable media members. If there are any Arkansas fans that still believe, my hats off to them.

Hope is a powerful thing. If this all goes poof, then at the very least, for one shining moment we had something to be hopeful for this football season. I will buy the OG crew a beer or two just for that alone.

Damn miserable football season. It sucks when the highlight of your season has been seeing Bama lose and CAK knock out Alcoa!

I fully believe we are past the point of "hitting snags" or anything of the sort. Media needs confirmation from UT to report things, and that is in short supply unless you are Hart or Cheek.

He has no clue. But for him to get people to listen and call in, he creates this daily drama. One day, some guy Jack calls in and he devotes his whole show the next day to that guy. The next day, he does a complete 180. Then today, he puts a twist on it, saying UT is hesitant towards Gruden.

Basilio totally whiffed on the defensive coordinator position a year ago. His sources said Shannon, then Steele, then somebody else, then when Sunseri came along, he acted like he knew all along.

It may well be someone else that's named coach, but BASILIO HAS NO IDEA, he knows as much as you or I.

I am just going to speculate a bit. Given that the Dooley train has been coming off the track since last season, would it be acceptable for Hart to truly be sitting around and doing nothing on a potentail coach search to this point? No, it wouldn't. It would look like more of the same from out bumbling administration. I don't think it is the case at all.

Also, the University just freed up $6 million per year for the AD to use. You don't need that kind of money to hire another unproven coach at $2 million per.

In addition, I don't think Peyton is going to donate a large chunck for another Dooley either.

I am still on board with the OGs, but man, it is disconcerting to here almost all of the local media saying this isn't going to happen. I am ready to get this thing announced.
