Pretty simple really...if UT offered to make Grudent the highest paid coach in the SEC or potentially in the nation and he turned it down....LET HIM GO, give it up.

UT needs to go after a proven college coach.

Actually no, I'm trying to find the post with Hubbs quote. Basically he said Gruden is the longest shot on the list with Strong and Fisher being best bet. I'll post quote in Cliff Notes if I find it. Hyams is the one reporting it fell through.

I posted earlier this week that hart would float out to him if it was over so the fanbase could move on and give the hire a real shot in public opinion.

Has that happened here?

Hubbs and Hyams were 2 of the last peolpe to report that talks were in progress. I may be wrong, but I believe that they in fact denied that talks were taking place. Now they are the only ones reporting that talks have ended? They must have developed some great sources in the last few days.

Every fan base has their share of negative and debbie downer type. Yes, it isn't over till he is at the podium but I will side with correct steady info over Hyams or whomever changing their tune everyday!! GO VOLS BRING ON GRUUUUDEN!!!!!:rock:

Please everyone stop quoting hyams. If hubbs says it fell through then I would put something into that, but he seems either out of the loop, or not saying much like Larry.

Gruden just trying to up his NFL stock....Cant use this VOL fan. I think we are all used up from the last five years.
