If we scare away excellent coaches by anointing Gruden before he is hired, then perhaps our only options will be the hungry "up-and-comers" who are given the opportunity because so many others said no thanks.

When did Dooley lose your support? You were saluting him after he ran our program to lows never experienced in our history.

Our offense was pretty good this year. We could not overcome a poor defense, however, and that I place squarely on Sunseri's shoulders. Yes, Dools hired him, he should have fired him. I supported the coach late in the game, yes. After the MSU loss is when I started seriously thinking his time was up. The Troy game got me to 90% and the Mizzou game sealed it for me, but I tried to avoid being super negative about it all since he was still our coach and still a Vol.

He was a Vol because we were paying him. We owed him nothing and were not getting what we were paying for as a program. This is not the thread to discuss the merits of the last coach especially considering there aren't any.
