It looked counter-productive, too. Clearly that kid was not able to take coaching after being shoved and berated.

I think it was you about 2 months ago that let the cat out of the bag that TT was about to get his hand smacked by the AA for recruiting.....

That was a nice call out.. I read the story Tuesday..:hi:

If Gruden is hired it's easy to see why Lawson would have interest considering he was recruited by the previous staff. If Gruden is hired, you think a Lawson/Liner package might be possible?

Someone on VQ posted babyvol's posts from today and here they are...

I've talked to two people that would know for sure in last 24 hours and one says it's done and the other says not done yet but he thinks it will get done.
The first may be basing it on fact Gruden has agreed to his part of deal, don't know.
There is also some worry that Gruden may be hard to control if hired.
I've also heard Gruden has made a few other requests on things I don't feel comfortable posting.

I still say 99.44%. Gruden has agreed to his part of deal, the hold up is over assistants salary. His latest request is 4.5 million a yr. Just don't see how we would lose him over a million dollars or so. Heck, we'll make that back the day he's announced in season ticket sales.

this I agree on. how that coach still has a job today is beyond me.

Wish we would hurry up and get this locked in. Was talking to some family (Bama fans) tonight about Gruden at Thanksgiving and they told me I was looking through orange colored sunglasses. Sure hope I can run it in their face by Christmas or ill look like an idiot. Hurry up please Grude!!

I hope so man. I know Lawson was big on Sunseri and the 3-4 but it's hard to imagine Gruden not making us a player for everyone. Liner is a beast too and his "character issues" are blown out of proportion.
