Man I heard a terrible name at Turkey day dinner....... I almost hate to say it.....

Terry Bowden...


I was told to keep an ear open for his name to pop up, but it would be very unlikely to get any traction......


Again not saying he is the guy before I get flamed.. I am just saying that his name was brought up..

I just don't see stoops having the slightest interest in leaving Ok. I don't even think fisher would have much real interest. He's got one if the highest ranked teams in the country that is finishing up a rebuild. Would be like a farmer selling a big farm located in an area that has plenty of rain for a big dried up piece of desert that used to be a rain forest. I bet fisher has just asked agent to put his name out so FSU will give football program some money. He was coach in waiting, just don't see him leaving for UT.

it's not close to funny. He thinks he's clued in, it's a joke. He's pimping for call ins on what normally would be a slow Friday. So Arkansas offers Gruden, Gruden turns it down. Gruden wants Tennessee so Tennessee turns him down. Makes no sense. IMO, reading between the lines, there's an awful lot of smoke here. No direct denials from Gruden. No direct denials from UT. They could be down to details, and UT would be assanine to walk away from Jon F'n Gruden.

Basilio said it was Shannon for DC a year ago. The next day he switched to Steele. The next day, whatever, you get the picture. No credibility. He wants his phone to ring.

Until I hear different from BORO, I remain 100% GRUDEN.

Well it is easier said than done. I want Gruden but wanting him doesn't MAKE him come. I hear these guys say YES it done he is coming. Then others say he isn't coming. I am stoked that we are still hoping and haven't been shot down or eliminated ourselves yet by hiring someone else. That is all I am clinging to as of now.

Would ANYBODY with any actual inside information give it to TB? Would be like telling tootie from facts of life to keep a secret. Ain't happening. And I look forward to the TB show each day. But listening to to him for true info is like watching Monday Night RAW for a real fight.

I believe it's a very strong possibility, but you never know what can happen. Don't worry about it.
