It is odd, and I wonder why the AD is still on lock down. You would think the AD would start receiving more and more information as we get closer to an announcement.

I must correct you he has never said it was a done deal. He said in the beginning there was interest from both sides but this week he has been consistent in saying it will not happen.

I have heard rumor that the Sports Animal was bought out by a national show and that TSR would be the only local sports radio so maybe they are being told to keep their mouths shut if they want inside info in the future.

I am not trying to defend him just stating fact. I read his blog every day and he has never said it is a done deal. He is a entertainer and has to keep listeners interested so I take everything he says with a grain of salt.

According to TB the Vol leadership worry about Gruden's ability to deal with players. He is a perfectionist and can be very critical of players according to TB's sources. The Vol Leadership wander how that will play out at the college level. [hint for the vol leaders see bama] I do not know what is true and what is rumor. I still want him to be our coach but we will have to be patent and see what happens.

If this does go down like the main sources on this board says I hope these media guys are ready for the bombardment of negative calls they will get and ready to eat some crow. Get Gruden GO Vols

I am guessing the local media gets the majority of their info from within the AD and it is locked down tight.

You are saying that Graham would call a recruit and tell him that UT was honoring the offer, which may then be completely the opposite of what a new coach would want to do.

What I am saying is that IF Graham is contacting recruits and telling them that, it is more likely that he is being told to do so, and likely only for certain recruits.
