I don't think the Barn expected to win a NC in 2010 and I didn't expect us to win one in 98 nor win the east in 04 and 07.

That was point. We started the same way against Cincy last year. I think people that knew Dooley figured he wouldn't do well, no one was hoping he would lose (loose) but it is what it is. I think hiring a position coach to be your DC and transitioning to the 3-4 was a huge red flag. Who does that? And what is the thinking behind it? But to get back to my point, it never was gonna happen. And Memphis would have won the NC with Cam. If I am drifting and hard to understand at points, I apologize, I am drinking, of course.

In the NFL, gm's build the team and the coaches coach what they get with their input considered. Unless it is a dual role., they are not the ones who build it. When Dallas had bad players, landry could not win and he was legendary. Gruden can coach and on college level, he will get good players. Got a call myself yesterday, they have given Gruden everything he asked for. If he doesn't come, it will not be because of anything UT has not done. 55 mil and eight years is th deal and up to gruden now. I think he is coming.

This Gruden talk is driving me crazy. I'm all about the guy. If he is not the coach, I'll never listen to these "insiders" again.

Well cooking turkey is a "process", he told them, and he also told the Haslams that the turkey needed "scars". So your story makes complete sense. Any word on if DD was heard pointing out mistakes the cooks at Shoney's were making when cutting the meat?
