Just called in to Vol Calls and wishes Coach Chaney and the players the best Saturday. He is a class act and a shame that dools didn't give him the DC position. It really shows what kind of a person he is.

That's great if it's true. I didn't ever understand why Dooley didn't like the idea of giving him at shot at DC. When they said we were going to offer Sal that much money I was thinking why not give Lance a shot since we weren't getting a big name DC like the Shannon rumors.

Its true he came on air as Lance from Tuscaloosa and bob id him as Lance Thompson "Jim Chaneys friend". Touching comments.

Classy move on his part. I don't think he would have been a much better DC though. That is why he made a lateral move.

Good grief!!!!!!!!!!! why did we not give him a chance to interview for the DC job? He had a ton of recruits on the hook too
