Jake don't make sense then... I was asking if we have to wait 10 days to 2 wks as SBV said how did Kiffin leave on the 13 and Dooley get hired on 15th

someone said that was not correct so I asked was SBV wrong?

Maybe the difference between a coach getting fired and a coach that quits?

Maybe different rules???

Guessing

Not completely wrong. It's my understanding jobs up to a certain salary have that requirement but it doesn't matter if they have had two other interviews by the time it is announced and contract is consummated. Still do not think the 10 day posting requirement pertains. I could be wrong but believe this is true.

Something about that seems kind of shady.

You think?

Kippy Brown should have been named Interim Head Coach when lk bolted out the back door, there would have been continuity and someone at the helm of our program who bled and still bleeds orange, instead he was treated like an uninvited guest that over stays his welcome and was given nothing more than a pat on the head on the way out the door. If you think for one second that the former players who played for Coach Brown were ok with the way that went down your completely stupid. Mike Hamilton had a fundamental misunderstanding of the depth of Coach Brown's talent intelligence, loyalty to the university and most importantly his understanding that no one person is bigger than The Program
If you run into any former palyers around town or hell call Jayson Swain or Treece on 1180 either one of them will tell you straight up how much this caused the already growing chasm between the university and the former players to become a nightmare situation. This divide must be closed hopefully our next coach whoever that might be can make that a priority.

I guess dont take what I said too seeiously. There are ways around the timing issue.

Just wanted to make sure if you saw some misdirection you wouldnt immediately freak out.

More so on thw interviewing of other coaches.

The university has a process to follow.

Please be aware that at least two official interviews will be conducted with coaches not named Gruden.

Also there is a minimum time frame the job has to be open - something like 10 days or two weeks I think.

As a state run institution ut must follow certain guidelines.

With all that said, sit back and enjoy your thanksgiving.

Good news will be here soon enough.

Thanks for the info. Since things get so mixed up in here with the influx of information, do you have an idea of the possible timeline? Some say 48 hours, others still say the 30th. What say you carter?
