Skeet if what I heard today is correct, and it is straight from the source, then it is very good for finalizing Gruden.

I know we know some of the same people, I bet I know you if you are in the AD. None of the people in the AD I know have said anything more than you have personally or otherwise. I think Hart is doing this right, or being forced to. Not sure which it is.

I want so badly to fully buy in. I want so badly to be 100% Grudenite. I am a pessimist at heart and recent UT history hasn't helped that. But I thank you guys for the hope you have given me. It will make for a great Thanksgiving conversation.

EA said she knows someone who is very close to Gruden and Tennessee and they said don't be surprised. But NFL teams are going to throw everything at him.

I was hoping so. You've always been class and represented the AD well. Never trashed a coach, but didn't serve kool-aid either.

I know this cannot be said enough. But everyone needs to give thanks to the OGs in this thread. I've been in since Gruden I. They have NEVER swayed from their stance. Thanks for all the info you gentlemen bring to the board.

We have heard things, just not from the right people. I dont think Hart is being forced into anything, he is very smart and very aware of the fragile state on the football program.

I wouldn't put any timeline that soon on it, then we'll have ledgejumpers ready to find a tall bridge if it doesn't happen.

Meanwhile, people on TOS are jumping off the bridge -- seem generally convinced that Gruden will not happen.

Should be an interesting few days to say the lesat.

All I know is that it has been a great ride. This is the most fun I've had posting on VN, and it has made this disappointing season more bearable. Many thanks goes to Boro, Jay, DTO, OCI, Carter, Lex, and our cheerleaders smokey and patti for making this thread more entertaining. Here's to landing Gruden and keeping this thread chain going all the way through the offseason! :rock:
