Best I can tell, he hasn't flat denied it but he does act like there is no way because he hasn't heard anything. Even when a ton of other insiders/media folks are saying it's basically done/done.

I agree, this is the most ridiculous I've ever seen him act. No way he has heard nothing! Either he has lost it or us waaaaaay out if the loop!

Soooo ... noone inside the AD knows anything concrete about Gruden, but you know the red flag is he wants complete control and he will not get it. Does this mean he knows more of what is going on than the AD at this point?

I think it is a lot of "educated guessing" going on amongst those around the AD. That's what I think LWS, Skeeter, and Hyams and such are reporting on. Things I have seen and heard today only reinforce this opinion.

November 25th Hart will be seeking permission from UCLA to contact Mora. Hart wants a coach by mid december if possible. Maybe its just a back up plan in case Gruden says no or backs out since a lot of people are saying its done.

If by some chance he's successful here, what makes people think he doesn't just bolt for the NFL? It's a lose/lose.

You dont win a superbowl with a franchise like Tampa and a QB like Brad Johnson if you suck. You dont get your pick of NFL or any job if you suck.
