That was me. I was to talking to our waitress Monday night about the coaching search and she said he had been in 2-3 weeks prior. Pointed out the table where he sat. I then talked to the owner and she said Johnny Majors brought him in about 6 months ago too.

This is essentially my story as well. When I was there, nobody was talking about it at all. That is why I don't put any stock in the other people I heard it from.

Just doesn't pass the smell test that none of the bartenders or waitstaff were talking about it. Normally they don't miss a chance to talk about celebrity sightings, which are quite frequent at that hotel I might add.

So if true maybe Majors was one of 3 prior UT coaches that 247 was saying Gruden spoke to recently.

From what I have heard He and Johnny are buds. I think he and Peyton are too. I can see he and Peyton really being tight as they have so much in common as to studying the game and film.

This has nothing to do with if Gruden will end up here or not. It is people saying it is done or they know for a fact. Sorry but I tend to believe you don't. The problem is people will believe what they want to believe. So it is useless to try and be a voice of reason, because no matter how much post like the e-tough guy I quoted sound just like the garabage on the Arkansas board, ome of you are too blind by your own need for this to be true to see it.

Haha..I didnt say anything along the lines of being a tough guy you weirdo. Actually your really starting to weird me out, remind me of some crazy ex's. The very few reputable posters on here say Gruden is a done deal. I dont believe 99% of what shows up on here outside of those few posters. Believe it, dont believe its not going to affect anything. I dont know you or really ever read any of your posts so obviously you have no knowledge of what's going on. I know the right ones to believe and the ones like yourself who just spout out stuff trying to make a new buddy or to stalk. Hope this clears up everything for you.

If Gruden is landed. Where does this rank as far as Tennessee football history is concerned? 2nd behind the 1998 championship? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I was just thinking about it last night.
