He's simply wrong about this one.

It's obvious that the AD is tight lipped and they plays into why he's wrong.

Why wouldn't he just say "I have no idea - everyone is hush, hush." That would make more sense.

I think someone is worried about their e-cred.

Agreed. Fear not.....Bama is going to show Georgia what playing an SEC schedule is really like. They've had the easy side of the conference for a couple of years now....seems they've forgotten their place.

Step away from the ledge guys! Who cares what TB says? If you've been in the JG threads since day one then you already know the only people to listen to is Boro, Jay, DTO, Carter, OV, Lex and sorry if I'm forgetting anyone but these guys have been spot on since the beginning. It's crazy how some things have unfolded just the way they said. Also if you watched Harts presser, dude has been and will continue to be tight lipped until there is a Gruden presser. Stay calm and enjoy the ride. Gruden could be our new HC in just 9 short days.

Coach canidates: Gruden is strongly considering. Stoops has put out feelers to TN. Gruden is more in depth in reaching out, studying TN. After those there is Jimbo, Al Golden and Strong. These are the early core 5 names.

JMO, but if Hart really has put the AD on double secret lockdown under penalty of termination, I would think the last person on earth anyone would give inside info to about this is LWS. He is a good guy and has been a reliable source of info for a long time, but he's been posting on various Vol forums for years using his own initials as his username--it's hard to imagine his sources don't know this, and if there is anyone people in the AD know will take what he's told to the internet it's him. That may not be a huge deal for most "inside" info, but on something really, really important he would be the first person I would expect to get an "intentional" leak and the last one I would expect to get something they truly wanted to keep quiet.

I believe that Larry's info comes from inside the athletic department and I think he genuinely believes what he is saying. I have a friend who works in the AD and he says that this move is definitely being made by the boosters and that Hart has NOTHING to do with it. He is just doing as he has been told and letting them handle it.

LWS is solid in my book, always has been. Thing is this kind of info, if everything I have been told and confirmed and reconfirmed by those on here I trust and know away from VN, is not coming from the AD side of things.

Anyone insulting LWS or calling him out should step back and take a breath and realize he can be wrong about this and still be a very solid source for information. No one is right every time, and I am certain he is basing his information on people within the AD. My friend that is an Associate AD laughs at me about the Gruden stuff, but also acknowledges the great possibility that Hart and Cheek are the only two within UTs admin that know all the details.

Any team that our Vols should have beat, does not deserve any discussion about a shot at the NC IMO.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the media is about a month behind? Or possibly just releasing old information to show they aren't completely out of the loop. Wasn't it not too long ago that Hubbs said Gruden was not a possibility?

I Believe and hope its Gruden if not I would be happy with Bob stoops. If its Al Golden I will be highly disappointed.
