I've been told this afternoon that the offer from Arky was indeed a couple of weeks back, and Gruden never responded to it.

You guys need to quit worrying about UT. I for one have never been worried about Gruden to TN. Right now the Vol's athletic program is at the bottom of a deep hole. That 16 mill would just be a drop in the bucket to what they need, hell...they still owe about 9 million to past coaches not to mention the shortfall from last year. How are they suppose to pay 6 mill to Gruden then another 2+ for his staff?

I agree, I work with so many Bams I know they would be saying you wouldn't have beaten us if we had Saban.

I had a little peace and quiet last week. The noise is back this week though.

Good for you, man. If the staff looks as Tennessee as has been rumored, it looks look you former guys are going to be more welcome in the new regime.

As a fan, I have to say I haven't felt this way since Peyton announced his return (about an off-the-field event of course).

I mentioned yesterday I had a call about new info about university and a dept support that I didn't think we would get in order to make a deal possible, which was one of 2 reasons why I was skeptical.
Cheeks announcement today confirmed that info.

Gruden, sign the contract please, if you haven't already.
