My question is can Gruden take the Tennessee job while still employeed by espn or can he do both? (For the short time remaining)

Being at USC with Kiffin is not helping his case at the moment, but I think that most people would be happy to see Tee back in orange.

Legit? Ok, so he never won a NC or beat Florida. He won a SECC, won a Super Bowl, is the most recognizable QB in the game, his face is all over tv, he gives money to this school like crazy, and always mentions UT when he gets a chance. Best ambassador this school has.

Anything else?

I think Manning has maintained more fan interest because of his NFL success. Both men are appreciated equally by most Vol fans IMO.

Most posters are giving Tee all sorts of love... I for one (and many others) hope he will be added to Gruden's staff in some fashion.... he has become a goos recruiter and decent coach

And he did everything but those two things he mentioned... And he is it for 4 years.. Prob has something to do with it..
