I am not sure he wants his identy revealed...but I will say he is on my friends list and leave it there
I have been imagining just how much time CJG would/will spend preparing for Oregon. You talk about a (slim) chance to rock college football from game 1.
I don't think he has been studying Oregon film to run that offense. I think he has studied and will continue to study Oregon film to stop that offense next fall.
That Texas A&M thread in this forum is an abomination. "Wahhh people spend too much money on coaches!"
"People will be upset when the savior Gruden only wins 7 next season"
Yeah and has the best recruiting class UT has seen in years. Nobody that is intelligent expects miracles.
Maybe, maybe not. I was thinking more of CJG constantly studying film, and having many, many months until his first game. He won't have all summer to get UT up for a cupcake. He gets to travel to Eugene, Oregon and overachieve against Chip Kelly.
I'd be interested to see the records of BCS conference teams that have a bye week or open against Oregon. I wonder if it compares to GT.
I don't mean to tell my age but I've been a fan of UT football since the days of Bill Battle. I saw what Majors re-building did for the program. If this hire is made I think it would eclipse even what he was able to do with the talent level at UT. There are no words for how I would feel for the program and the fanbase in general, I'm sure there will be tears of Joy for all of the Volnation.
