its a moot point....my point is these guys could lose thunder thorntons net worth several times over and be fine. strikes a nerve in me when people think that guy is a serious player behind the scenes

If what we are hearing is true about Thorton supporting a return of Fulmer, this is all we need to know about his relevance as a "player".

SEC fans who keep e-mailing, "Gruden just bought house in Knoxville."...it was Jon Gruden, 71, who just retired w his wife Betty. Close tho. -- Colin Cowherd (@ESPN_Colin)

If we have hired Gruden and if we do announce it next Friday. How mad will the Slive be? I remember a few years ago Bud Selig getting upset with I think it was the Yankees and A-rod for negotiating and announcing a contract extension during the world series.

It would be nice if the fans would show the players this weekend that not showing up was a protest against the coach and not the team.

Ya'll want Gruden? Here's a way to pay for it. Peyton Manning knows Papa John. Papa John.. as everybody knows is a pizza company. Get Peyton to get all the Tennessee franchises for Gruden, and then get reefer legalized in 2016, a la Colorado, and there ya go. $10M will be chump change. Just a thought.. discuss among yourselves.

Papa John would do it to keep us from pursuing Strong

Dr. basketball did indeed mean Ergen, who is the founder of Dish. He said it was a Typo.
