Chattanooga television did an interview with Alan Jones last night and he wants Fulmer back. They also hinted toward the fact Thunder wants him back also.

The rationale I continue to hear is, in a nutshell, image and public relations. Above and beyond whatever stipulations Gruden or other candidates might impose, it would appear to be "very bad form" for UT to hire another coach immediately after terminating the former coach, thus providing evidence that a deal was obviously in the works long before the termination of Dooley.

I heard Thunder wanted Cutcliffe or even Fulmer or something dumb like that recently.

He didn't want Fulmer fired to begin with so I'm sure he probably wanted Cut or Fulmer to come back. Thats why I was wondering if he was willing to throw in some money for Gruden or if he was still bitter about everything.
