I may be way behind on this but in the funny black van avi is when the door opens and Manning and Hart jump out, is that Tyler Bray sitting in the van with them? Its hard to make out but it looks like him. Halirious

My theory on the "announcement" . . .

- Half-time of SEC Championship game, CBS cuts to a special news conference at UT. The anticipation in the room is palpable, as no sources have confirmed or denied anything to this point.
- Dave Hart walks out, says a few words, and then introduces . . .

PHIL F'IN FULMER!

- The media is stunned, Rucker giggles with glee, Ainge has an aneurysm. The smell of burning serta emanates from the strip
- Then Fulmer says a few brief words about what a great job Tennessee is, blah blah blah, then proceeds to introduce . . . .


- JON FREAKING GRUDEN! And the haze from the once riotous, but now celebratory mattress burnings lingers over Knoxville for days, like a shawl of glorious velvet draped over the shoulders of George Costanza

Thanks boro. That is part of this that I haven't seem anyone claim to know. It's important to know dealing with announcement times and when he can go to work. Sounds like his contract does at least allow for an announcement which is great.

Announce him and let he other coaches recruit to his name even if he can't speak to them due to his contract

I wonder if the national media will have a complete meltdown over this. They just don't expect this from us. It doens't fit the image they have of us in their heads. Tim Brando needs it shoved straight up his A$$!

Call me crazy, but I see ESPN doing the exact opposite and jumping on the bandwagon.

They already know what kind of ratings he can bring in.
