As you are aware, I couldn't care any less if you believe me. Maybe OV, Jay, Lex, DTO, BCarter, OCI, or others feel differently. You'll have to ask.

The two things that make me believe 100% and not stress...1 what Mort said last week and 2 Boro, jay, OV, Lex and anyone I may be forgetting, everything they have said has happened and they haven't backtracked or changed their tune one time. It's bout to go down Coasty, enjoy the ride brutha!

good post. its getting to the point if anybody even resembles being in disagreement, they get ganged in this thread. i believe Lex, Boro, and the guys but i also know that things can happen up until the instant that pen is put to paper. it seems unwise to claim its done, to me.

Thanks for the insiders on here who keep us all sane. I think everyone just wants to hear him announced at the podium so we can finally celebrate! Been telling people here in Illinois we are getting Gruden and people think I am nuts. Will be so awesome when it finally happens and we know we are back!!

Thanks again Boro for bringing some calm resolve to the group. I am by no means connected, but what you and several others say makes the most sense and lines up with what some of my more well-to-do friends who interact with the big dogs at UT say as well. I look forward to the Gruden announcement in the coming weeks.

Anyone, can, may, and will make an offer at anytime. A contact requires three things, a formal offer, a formal acceptance, and some form of payment to be a complete contract.

I have seen, as you should have to, someone recieve an offer after being contacted ... it is NO BIG ISSUE

What he wants is for every person with info to lay out specifics of whom their sources are and why they are so certain. Even if he had that info from said source, he would want to speak to Gruden and his agent.

More and more legit info is backing what these "insiders" have posted here, and yet he still wants to poke and prod them.

While the rest of us will wait and enjoy the process, he's constantly whining. Sure, he is free to do this, but we will know one way or another very soon. This should be apparent.

Not sure, just was told it had very little to do with compensation and was more about control and commitments made on the chancellors side. Not my best source, full disclosure, but a trusted friend and former Associate AD.
