I believe that the players will play all-out Saturday, as if the game were an audition or a try-out for the new coach. We will motorboat Kentucky Saturday.

This is wishful thinking, but I heard from a friend that works in the AD that people were walking around the complex like someone had died.

He needed to be benched, dude was high or hungover. Looked like he was mouthing off a lot too, which probably sped up his benching.
In all honesty, Worley played better than Bray other than the pick. His preformance made me feel a little bit better about our future with Worley. JMO

The kids are in shock. They will shake out of it by Saturday. Remember that UK is going through the same thing.

I agree that it is a period of shock, and I think the VOLS will win(I also thought they'd be 9-2). I disagree with Dooley not finishing out the season and at least keeping a state of normalcy for the players.

Worley's pick was a communication issue with CP. CP was to cut off the route when the D blitzed. He didn't look for the ball and didn't cut off the route until the d-back was already breaking on the ball. That one is equally shared. Other than that Worley was in command.

It was pretty obvious to us he was doing all of these things. I am ready for Cali cool to move on. He's got a million dollar arm and a 2 cent brain.

I'm no CP hater, other than the show boating and giving up after the pick, but it looked like he didn't recognize the blitz like he was supposed to.

Honestly i think the radar gun being there had a lit to do with what was going on.

I believe that the radar gun, if nothing else, should put to rest criticisms of Worley's arm strength. They kept saying that anything on the plus side of 50 mph was NFL-caliber and Worley was hitting 51 mph.

That kid Sam Gordon's cutbacks, jukes and speed really reminded me of CP without the show boating and inability to carry an interview

I hope we get a few more guys good enough to showboat. You have to make plays to high-step and such. CP is the most exciting player to me we've had to wear the Orange(high praise I know). He had his grades right and could stay another year he would be the best playmaker to wear the Orange. He's scored 4 different ways for us this year.

Show boating is part of the game though. And I think the refs are BSin with these calls. If a kid isn't taunting the competition you let the players play. Plain and simple stay out of the game refs.

They have gone overboard to define that rule in an overly restrictive fashion. "Breaking stride" in the course of scoring simply is not equivalent to turning around and pointing the football at your opponent or these clearly orchestrated touchdown celebrations that you see in the NFL, but it will get you flagged just the same.

The rule is pure crap.

If you are openly mocking an opponent or doing something with props, sure.... throw a flag. But I miss all those fun celebrations like the Saints playing leapfrog and such.

The rule needs to revisited.

I agree that the rule is joke. However, after getting it against Mizzou, CP has to know better than doing it again.

Disclaimer: I didn't actually see what he did because I was looking back at the other flag for ineligible man downfield so I don't know how bad it really was.
