Hyams and Hodge both said they have heard directly from boosters that Gruden has already been signed, but that they don't believe it. So, apparently they only believe their sources when the information coincides with their own positions.

I know we can't find out but I really want to know if any of the decisions made by Dooley last night were out of spite? I know he's a bad coach but I didn't think he'd go so far as to intentionally napalm the football program.

But that's what it looked like.

I agree.

You can actually tell who is a journalist and who is an entertainer.

The journalists never inject themselves into the process. The entertainers think their opinion matters to people a whole lot more than it actually does.
