Fred White is saying that Jay Graham interim head coach. I dont know if he knows that he will be or thinks he should be but if jay graham is named today then I think that is a huge positive sign for gruden. If reports are true that graham will be retained on tennessee staff by gruden, then this would only make sense. I mean why else would you promote him over someone like chaney unless you ALREADY know that chaneys gone and graham is staying. And the only way you would know that is if you already knew who the HC is and who he wants to keep from the current staff

My thoughts exactly, well said! :hi:

I don't know what they call you, but I call you "smart."

Hope not "as in" Kirby Smart... LOL

Seriously.... there is no one out there in my mind that can help us out of this deep hole we are in other than Jon Gruden.... I don't care if it takes 11 mil a year to get him and his staff... you simply go and do it

If I want my business to succeed I must hire the best professional's avalible to hire...No matter the cost

That is what the VOLS MUST do

If true then two things:
A great sign for JG
Hart isn't as stupid as I thought.

But I think it more likely Hart lets Dooley finish out next week. Which is a bad idea IMO - the guy will be publicly humiliated next week - can you imagine him doing the VolWalk?

Could be a safety issue and embarrassing as well.

A great sign for Jay Graham or Jon Gruden?

Exactly. I said last week that the only thing that makes sense to me about keeping dooley this long is that it has to be at the request of the new coach. Otherwise, why do you keep a lame duck coach in place

Please tell me that Hart is not even considering allowing Dooley to coach the UK game. He is a complete disgrace to the program and all things orange. He needs to take he buy-out and get the hell out of dodge!

I want to reiterate my feelings from last night.

I feel positive about Gruden now, because if Hart did not have Gruden wrapped up, he surely never would have tied his fate to this lame duck fiasco.

If he let this go on as it has and he hasn't got a rock star in the waiting, then he will have shown himself to be hammy 2.0, and I can't help but think he will be shown the door as well.
