I'd get behind Mora in a second...but west coast guys make me nervous...is there a job he'd leave us for in the middle of he night?

He wants to coach in the sec.

Skeeter, I know we all want Dooley out but in all seriousness I hope you and yours aren't put out of a job. With all of us ready to run Dooley out of town I think we forget others are effected as well. Hoping Everything is well for you.

Sleep well...tomorrow will be a good day.

I would announce Dooley fired today, and then announce the new coach (Gruden) tomorrow (if in fact we do have him locked down). OCI, has the time line been accelerated now that DD will be "officially" fired today?

I can.

I would feel terrible for UCLA to get Kiffined though. No one deserves having a coach instill hope for one year and then bounce. It would be an exact replica

UCLA beats us in Kiffin's only year.

Kiffin splits to take his "dream job."

UCLA beats Kiffin at USC to put him out of his "dream job."

UT steals UCLA's new stud coach.

It's really their own fault if it happens, IMO.

I would feel bad for UCLA.

Mora has done a excellent job this season. Seems like he'd be a pretty good head coach.

I wonder if he would want to bring Noel Mazzone with him as OC? You would think, having an NFL background, he would run a pro style offense but he hired Mazzone and UCLA and they have been a spread team.

There was this issue with him earlier this season.

CP is one of the most talented players I've ever seen with the ball in his hands. The stuff he does is just ludicrous. I can't think of a comparison. Unique and unreal.

He does literally nothing else well. Bad routes, hasn't learned the playbook, doesn't block well, takes plays off when the ball isn't coming his way. I hope he doesn't go to the NFL thinking he can get by solely on athletic talent like he has here. At some point he'll have to actually learn how to play football.
That will cost CP when the draft comes around. NFL teams invest too much money in players to invest a first round pick in a guy who has not proven that he can learn a playbook or run proper routes. He will be relegated to kick off returns ala Devin Hester.

Patterson's failure to run the proper routes and run them in a full speed manner hurt the team over the season and especially last night. He is a great talent, but he is also a detriment to the passing game this season and why other teams could get away with doubling up on Hunter.
