LWS from TOS (per the cliff notes thread)

LWS: I hear the announcement on Dooley will be in the AM
frostyvol: Larry, any insight on who we will hire? Gruden? Fisher? Someone else?
LWS: no decision made yet. both those and Golden, Strong all in play..

It would just be a relief to hear its official. Then i can get excited about our new coach.

I've never seen a team with so much talent have a record so bad. All on the COACH.

As far as Tennessee teams go, I'm with you. There are some other teams out there this year who are way underperforming.

But that's just it. Give Bobby Petrino or Steve Spurrier our team with the offensive talent we have and we'd be in the title hunt, no question.

I'm being irrational because the situation is forcing a reaction. Do I really think he was on drugs, no. But something was ****ing wrong with him.

He doesn't want to play for a bonehead that'll bench him for something that clearly wasn't his fault. I mean, sure, it may have been a bad option, but are you really benching arguably your best player for a tipped ball INT? In this game? Seriously? Like a said, shot to confidence. A shot to his belief in his coach. On and on and on...

Honestly what are we arguing about? You and I usually see eye to eye. I think we'd both agree that Dooley coached like **** as usual and we'd both have to agree Bray laid a monster egg regardless of the excuses.

6-7 of the top 8 or 9 in tommorow's polls will be SEC teams.

If USC beats Note Dame next week, we will likely have another all-SEC National Championship.

We will continue to fall behind. I'm afraid we will become Miami without the sanctions. And ironically we will probably end up with their mediocre coach.

I think UT football may be dead and not coming back.

Its sad when you have issues with an offense that averages 38 points a game, but there are a lot issues.
You have 1 wr whos effort has been maybe 60% all year, the other wr has not progresssed in his route running to honestly be a threat. Athletically 11, 84, and 8 have very few that match and there are far too many times they depend on only that to make plays.

Dooley being replaced, could care less either way, it would have been hard for anyone to step into this mess and make it a winner. Way to many players given jobs because there was noone better and your only as good as who you practice against.

Heres hoping the next coach can do the job, the groundwork has been done

I know how you feel man, but something was wrong with the whole team. Wouldn't surprise me if they were all on it lol. The only player that came to play today was Lane.

If the UTAD is going to not the spend the money and settle for Kirby Smart, Charley Strong, or some other flavor of the day, our program is in some serious trouble.

Few positives from the game....

Palardy was basically flawless on his roles tonight, aside from the fake punt and pass play. He had good punts and helped with field position.

Lane ran good tonight. 16 carries for 112 yards. Almost 7 yards a carry. Graham was the best thing that happened to him and its paying off.

CP had some miscommunications with Bray but still pulled off close to 250 all purpose yards.

A.J led the defense in tackles with 12.

Overall, this team from top to bottom is a joke period. This is the time that really questions my loyalty as a fan. My girlfriend wants me to root for a different team so that I'm not upset and depressed (literally). I love UT too much to turn away on them. Kentucky was the lowest of the low last year and tonight is maybe lower.
