no gruden will not coach the bowl game. more than likely i think they would let dooley and go out on good terms. u never have a new coach step in to coach a bowl game.

Is that different than saying his complicated style of offense won't translate??

Good coaches teach their players the game and adapt. I believe Gruden is intelligent enough to be able to realize what he can and can't expect from his team.

This won't be rocket science at Tennessee with Gruden. He would have better players, and the game plan will be much more simple.

A professor at Harvard can teach a 4 year old to write if he knows how to communicate, and teach.

The cobbler elves are saying Saban to the North Pole just in time for Christmas. He's going to the Big Show!

Just what I heard.

I honestly wish he would stick around so we could beat his ass hole he's in Crimson.

He's gonna pull an UM.

waco, honest question....what u all think bout muschamp? i think he has done a good job this year, especially with wht lack he has to work with on offense currenrly. unfortunately though, i think fla takes a step back due to losing significant defense players. i juss dnt think he may be right for fla. whats ur thought?

NO, because I think Gruden actually has affection for this place. Talk about JUST a hired gun that is Saban.

Hired gun indeed....look LSU....Bama....wants to be about him. I think when Gruden comes it is because he wants to be here. Not another notch on belt.

I agree he is plenty smart enough to adapt but it will be interesting to follow. Bigtime coaches with egos sometime are slow to admit they need to evolve and if my impression is correct he will need to especially dealing with young QBs.

Tony is pushing Al Golden(I just don't get it)

He's a Philly guy and pumps his time at Temple. Golden I can get behind.

Fulmer Lite staff (Ainge's pick) : no thank you.

Gruden or bust if you want to be nationally relevant and compete on a regular basis.

Just talked to my brother who's a student.

Says campus is still electric with Gruden talk.

This week has been so much better than the last 2.

Who thinks Gruden reached out to us?

If he did, you would have to be near crazy to not even continue to entertain him. Woo him down, this is UT. Bring him home. UNLESS the price is wayyyyyyyyyy outta the park, and I mean wayyyyy outtta there. Like prince fielder gone
