How long do you guys think Gruden stays here before the lure of the NFL becomes too much?

He's had plenty of opportunities to return to the NFL. He won't use Tenn as a stepping stone. It's more than just the money for him. It's personal, and we know he loves Tennessee. I can see him finishing his career at Tenn.

Yeah..........Florida is scared of Tennessee.

Don't worry about them people. Tennessee is a coach away from being good and revitalizing its rivalries with Florida and Alabama. Still doesn't mean we will be far and away better. I do think that with Gruden, we would be better coached than Florida but Florida will always recruit top notch talent.

He's already said that Tennessee is one of the marquee jobs in ALL of football

Mort said Jon will get back into coaching, don't know when.... He said the current NFL may not be as appealing to Jon anymore and that there are things that he likes about college. He also said Jon has studied the college level

That's much better than his statement I read yesterday.

Fulmer was a good coach. Kiffin was a good coach, etc.......

Florida will still be Florida.

I don't think anyone actually thinks that Florida is literally scared if we get Gruden, but I would venture to say that Florida would probably help pay Dooley's salary if we asked them. Looking at your schedule and seeing Tennessee as a threat and tough game is what we want and with Gruden that is likely imo.

I always see Tennessee as a threat. That has NEVER changed.

Nothing ground breaking about Mortenson's interview. He did interrupt Wycheck while commenting on Gruden with "Jon, are you there?" Said he does a great job at ESPN and we want to keep him.

This 10yr at 50mil talk got me thinking. IMO wthout huge support of donars the university can't take that big of risk. Lets assume for just a minute that a booster is willing to give a portion of that money to cover but the other portion is loaned by the same booster to the university with the understanding that it be paid back if the attendance number described here pay dividends.

Is it legal for an AD to borrow money with an understanding of paying back money with the booster assuming the risk???

No takers for answering this or was it just a dumb question???

You know the guy who took over for Zeus.

This guy coached at Flerda?

I bet his recruiting is no holds barred.
