Typically when people are claim to be getting same text at same time either you all know the same one guy or your sitting in a dorm room circle jerking to a giant troll job

Typically, I would agree. Boro's and my info came from the same guy. However, I haven't lived in a dorm in over 20 years.

DTO and Jay

I do not have any inside that Gruden is coming, but i had this last night.... posted last night that a friend who rubs elbows with boosters said that the checks were written, Dooley was gone, and the planes were in the air to go cut the deal.......

Does this line up with your timeline of things you are hearing...from your posts I am guess so.

Thank you for keeping us all in the loop.

No Paul Karila, it is Paul Kariya's less talented brother ha ha. My attempt to spell his name without a google check failed. Ha ha.

Haha, his less talented brother's name is Steve actually (fact). I remember him playing at Maine (i think).

Tell your wife she has to hurry up and get well so she can party with the rest of Tennessee when the news comes.

I might have to hire a sitter just to stay with her so I can come to Tn and celebrate lol. After her surgery were confident shes going to be medically retired from the Army. shes been through a broken back on her last tour and the hits keep coming. this has just about did her in.Then its back to Tn we come lol

Bruin is "warming up"

I don't believe so either. I am not a tax expert but I believe you get taxed whether you live in a state or not. So if his salary now comes from Connecticut (ESPN) then he is taxed no matter where he lives. I think it makes a difference if he makes money in the state of TN.

If you earn the income in a state that has a state income tax, you are taxed on the income earned in that state. So for example New York has a state income tax. If you live in Tennessee, but earn an income anywhere in the state of New York, you have to file a New York State income tax return and pay applicable taxes. It's a nightmare in the music industry.

Glad you took time out from your daily ritual of beating off to your poster of James Franklin long enough to enlighten us, you're a true martyr.

Have you been drinking?

Naw just all smells funny to me. I def don't trust oci... He is making his stuff up as seen by constant misses. Loose lips sink ships and I have hard time believing the people running this search are going off telling everyone the deal do they can post on Volnation especially if gruden wants it quiet.

Again, I'm not in their circle but have checked out DTO and he's no troll

I'm not in any circle here. Hardly know anyone, and that's fine with me.

I talked with OldVol a few years ago thru the PM feature. I learned he was a Christian and was concerned about people's well being. While that doesn't qualify him as having "sources", I have confidence in him not being intentionally misleading.

I believe Mr. Gruden, did it with an orange pen, in the Orange Oval Office.

Grudenite opens the envelope... "awe shucks. It's still Dooley!"

Ouch...God speed!!

Pro athletes are taxed per game, at the going rate, of the state in which said game is played.

Ok...admittedly I don't know how it works for folks who are semi-transient like athletes.

I know for most jobs, state taxes are assessed if the TDY is over 30 days. I have to assume there is an advantage for these guys to claim residency in a no tax state. Almost everyone in the military is a resident of TN, TX, NV, or FL. I'm assuming that's also why alot of sportscasters live in FL.

It's kind of moot point since he currently lives in FL, where there is no state income tax.

For the record, I'm not disputing the idea that he may be coming to UT...just questioning some of the listed motivations.

Hang in there. Get her healthy. Will continue to lift y'all up in prayer.

If we end up with Gruden, it has been quiet. For the most part media outlets haven't talked about Gruden to Tennessee and only a couple of people here talk about having inside info. That's pretty dang quiet... especially considering there was almost 12,000 people online here at the same time a couple of nights ago.
