Info has gone cold IMO. I said a few days ago I feared their info was a few days behind some others and that is the case I believe

I am hearing (reading) that they are contacting other candidates besides Gruden. Also hearing (reading) that that may be standard operating procedure.

It's possible that we misunderstood what babyavi was saying not that I listen to him anyway..No offense to him.

WOW, reading the article from VolQuest scares the hell out of me.

Two reasons:

1. Dave Hart apparently wanted Dooley back for a 4th season.

2. Several influential people close to the program wanted to fire him sooner than later because other programs were looking for coached.

That leads me to believe that UT has done NOTHING in the way of looking for a new coach, let alone drawn up any freaking contracts with Gruden, like what was reported all over this board.

Dooley being gone is fantastic, but I'm not sure about the future at all now.
