I turn 51 next month and have lived in the Knoxville area and have been a Vol fan as long as I can remember. Dickey, Battle, Majors, Fulmer, Kiffin and now Dooley have led my Vols to the battlefield. During this time I have never seen our program at such a difficult crossroad that the Dooley era has brought us.
Jim Haslam played for Neyland on the 1951 NC team, he turns 82 this year (December 13th) I find it hard to believe that this man who has loved and supported the university all these years wants to go to his grave not doing everything in his power to right the sunkin football ship.
Thunder Thorton has been a great supporter for UTAD over the years and the current product on the field is not going to result in big donations without change in the near future.
None of the above even touches some of the info I have been privledged to obtain. It is my understanding that the piss poor coaching hires are no more and not only is a homerun hire wanted it is also needed to stop the massive leak that the program is having for lack of revenue from the football program.
