My thinking here is the history along with logic says the silence means nothing in regards to a deal being done with gruden.


It seems to be a huge reason posters believe this is happening.

I don't believe JG will be our next coach but I darn sure acknowledge its possible. That is why I am following this thread so closely.

Slice said a few weeks back Patterson was the #2 guy. That's who I was referring to.

I certainly don't see but a few HUGH hires out there... the list you put up are good hires, some might be better hires than others but Great?

Gruden would be a grand slam... but who else meets that criteria

That may be a factor in getting Gruden, how much rebuilding we will have to do, due to leaving early to the NFL.

Best case scenario would be to get Gruden, the entire offense stays for one more go at it, and Chucky gets a defensive coordinator in here that knows what he's doing. The entire secondary needs rebuilding.

Don't shoot me here. But I think Gruden or whoever the next coach is should keep Chaney for at least the first year if Bray and Co. stay.
