Off topic, but more important than any of this:
I genuine heart-felt thank you to all who have served our nation. In this age of "heroes", the sacrifices made by individuals for the cause of freedom for us all qualifies them as real-life heroes. The debts this nation and it's people owe you is immeasurable; how can you put a value on these sacrifices? You can't. As a people, we can just hope that we all, everyday citizens, public servants, politicians, et al, live our lives in a manner that shows the proper respect to those who have served and to the freedom they have provided. In a time of deep divisions in our nation, we can honor these individuals by coming together as a nation to address our problems in meaningful ways. We can honor our heroes by not forgetting their sacrifices. We can honor them by making sure their physical and emotional needs created because of their sacrifice are properly met. We can honor them by living our lives in a way that reflects our appreciation of the freedoms in which they have fought to bring/ensure for us. We can live our lives in a way that honors the peace they have secured for us by living in peace with our fellow countrymen regardless of race, religion, creed, political affiliation, and gender among others. We should honor these men and women daily by living in concert with the ideals they have fought to defend.
Thanks to all, past, present, and future, who have been able to claim the honor of American Soldier. You nor your sacrifices will be forgotten. God bless you all, and may God bless our geat nation.
