Mornin VN cliff says still not expecting dools being fired wouldn't it make sense to sever the ties today since making them horrible calls and no timeout if hart can't see dools is sabotaging the team and fans shouldn't we start questioning Hart fire him today and the players will win both games left and bowl without him. What say ye

If Dooley is expected to finish the year...

Why the hell are the students not forming a protest outside of the AD's office right about now?

Are we that apathetic as a fan base?

If you live in Knoxville call the media, get on social networks, get out on the streets, on campus...

Get your voice out there and be loud about it.

I tend to agree that if Dooley was let go now that the team would play better and possibly win out. Most of the guys with the info keep saying be patient and enjoy the ride. Well, after yesterday I'm starting to get car sick.

I just don't understand the apathy from the locals.

We burned everything in sight when Kiffin left. The students and locals could easily form a protest on campus and outside of the AD's office.

It could be formed in about 10 minutes through Twitter and Facebook. Thousands of people.

Not any more. Not after saying Dooley was the only one who would take the job. Absolute BS! I recall vividly the events, and Sumlin was one of those Hamilton was considering, along with Dooley. A number of reports said he was very interested. A Dallas beat writer just stated in an interview the other day that Patterson was still interested in the UT job, but his asking price went up (had more stock than during the previous search, but more importantly that he was insulted with Hamilton's saying he was too much like Fulmer, the first time around).

Plus Cutcliffe had initially accepted the job....but there was a chit-storm from the media and fanbase. Then he re-considered. It was all but done. Not saying I would've liked the hire. I hated it, quite frankly....but to say that Dooley is the only person who would take the job is sheer dumbassery.

Hamilton rolled snake eyes....not because he had no choice. Because he had no clue. Just that simple.

I get pizzed off when I hear people spew that nonsense. Hearing it come from Larry just blew all the credibility he had, in my book. That tells me all I need to know.

I think I am starting to agree Doyle. I almost need to hear the 'kitty' song from Big Bang Theory:sick:.
I am hopeful there will be some news for us today :zeitung_lesen:

It's Sunday so we probably won't get an announcement today. Hopefully Rucker or Hubbs leak something to us.

Regardless, the AD needs to release a statement. This BS has carried on for way too long and they've been silent the entire time. Not a peep.

Believe me when I say I feel where you are coming from. I honestly think the leadership of the product on the field coupled with the attendance drop off sends a loud enough message for them to hear and if they don't? I don't think they would listen or care how loudly we shouted.

I may be wrong but I look at the silence as a positive.
They have to be aware of other schools that will have openings, yet they seem to be taking their time, in no rush at all.
I am hoping that means they have their man locked in when they are ready to show Dooley the door.

The silence coming from the AD is troublesome. I keep thinking that if we can let two Tennessee legends go during the season (Majors and Fulmer) then what in the world do we owe Dooley? Give this fan base some hope, please! We are dying a slow death of a thousand paper cuts.

Gruden would be a total moron to leave his easy job paying $4.3 Million per year to come to Tennessee and coach in a situation that's almost a no win deal.

I just hope our big $$$ boosters and AD Hart can get a rock solid homerun hire and not set our program back for another 5 years or longer.

It's really too late to let him go now. That should have been done after So.Car. With only two games left, what's the use. Kinda like the song "Too Old To Die Young".
