Not saying we should try to low ball Gruden, but in all seriousness, a $5.5mill offer would be significant for even an NFL job. I'm all for getting Gruden, but let's face it, he's in the ESPN booth for a reason. He got fired for underachieving for a number of seasons as HC, at Tampa.

He's a big risk even if we could get him for $4mill/yr. The initial offer that was mentioned on here sounds about right. 5.3-5.5.

Wasn't really being serious on that lol Just trying to state how bad I would like the hire made.

Yeah Tubbs made a horrible move today, his stock was rising too. So yall really think Ainge is Doyle? He played for theast revelant ut team....so long shot but if true....thanks for the memories....its not him.

I like Zo but I think the love for him is pretty premature. He hasn't done much yet.

Maybe so. Im not saying hes there yet. but in his first year he had us #2 in the SEC. guys believe in him and are buying in. He landed us a 5 star recruit in jarnell and now one this recruiting class too.

I know this is a Gruden thread. But just saying once this dooley thing is resolved im excited about the direction our athletics are heading.
