The point being...... Ainge is not a reporter, he is a former player trying to make a living as a talk show host.

If I want to sell a book, I get on a talk show, If I want to leak a story to my benefit, I leak it to a talk show host. Again, not being dis-respectful but Ainge is a tool.

Why do they want "Gruden is not coming" news on the airways? All that does is piss off fans. It's illogical for them to do that, which is why I'm refuting your theory. The AD doesn't like that station. It's illogical for them to leak information to Ainge, creating the image that he has "sources" thus creating more fanbase and intrigue in the show. When, in fact, he is the most popular talk show host on the biggest rival radio group with the official flagship station of the University of Tennessee.
