I didn't take it as they were saying a lump sum of $15 million, but more or less pledged $15 million which could be believable

Woulda been more believable if he said Haslam. I don't care how much they make in their career, a $15 mil lump sum is a lot for an athlete to donate to their school. A billionaire, not so much.

He sure does love Tennessee though. I could believe it's true, and that it never happened.

What if he only gave 5 but some of our mega boosters spotted him the 10 to do entirely in his name?

More believable but I would think multiple billionaire boosters wouldn't need Peyton to kick in anything unless he just wanted too. I don't have a source or know anyone, this is all my opinion but just don't see him throwin out that kinda coin.

Should've fired Dooley after UK game last year and hired Sumlin then. Nothing we can do about it now though cause he ain't leaving College Station after 1 year.
Pretty much what I was saying after Wilcox and Sirmon bailed the sinking ship. This program was clearly the Titanic, taking on water....yet Hart decided "lifeboats? We don't need no stinking lifeboats." :loco:

Been gone all morning and just got home.Words can't express(well at least the ones allowed here) how much I want dooley gone. No need for a press conference, just get your stuff and get out!

It would actually be in bills. Would need 714 dump trucks to move that weight in quarters

I don't doubt for a second his love for UT but there's multiple billionaires that wants this done and will pay what it takes so why does Peyton need to give $15 mil and the entire coaching staff buyout is just $9.3? So Peyton is covering those buyouts and almost Grudens first years pay? Not saying I'm right, just sounds strange to me.
