I wouldn't gie the offense high marks,either. Multiple times this year, they have been in a position to win games late (UGa, USC, MSU) and failed. Even today, they could have salted it away late in the 4th and went 3-and-out. They also had a chance at the 2point conversion to win, and failed.

They choke when the game is on the line, too.

Dooley is now 4-18 as an SEC coach, 1-13 in his last 14 SEC games.

For a program as proud and committed to excellence as Tennessee football has been for over a hundred years, that degree of futility is simply staggering. Mind-boggling, just about impossible for anyone to accomplish, no matter how bad of a coach they are.

I do not believe it is imminent. It may not be our decision to make. It may be a personal (Gruden) decision: to return to the NFL or enter the college arena.

Fishing Vol, I bass fish most of the time but I did hear Crappie are biting around Iron Hill cutoff......Bass fishing is getting better about mid lake. I love Watts Bar but may be going to Guntersville AL, Monday.

A number of the insiders have posted that JG has intentionally put out smoke to cover his involment here until at least the end of the season. They also claim DD was told weeks ago its over all to keep JG happy. If you believe that nothing will be announced until after Kentucky.

JG is not likely here, but they are going to go for him. He is asking 7 million. I'm sure they will give it another look.
