You cannot say for sure that Gruden will not be here. I think it will be a tough deal with all the moving parts, but to say with uncertainty he will not coach here is reaching in the least.

Yeah, just because they're not a home run (in my opinion), doesn't mean that they can't be the guy to resurrect TN football. Strong could be the next Saban, who knows? Just as of now, I wouldn't put him in the home run category, but he very well could turn out to be "the guy".

SBV said Randy Shannon was going to be our DC and he wasn't ever even contacted. That's not very solid. Others you mentioned did the same, but I can't keep the people with "sources" in this thread straight. I promise you he is not coming and this is just misinformation being perpetuated to the Nth degree. Move on to something more productive.

That's kinda what i was trying to say, but i think it's a little more likely than you think, just my opinion, good post though.

Guess we just better move on to the next Coach and delete these Gruden threads. Its obvious you know Gruden first hand and know what he is going to do before he knows. I do have a football and the book he wrote I would love to send to you and get him to autograph both of them if you dont mind. I will send the return shipping and a little extra for yourself. Your saving me alot of wastwd time and hope by breaking it to us now instead of Gruden waiting until December to break our hearts. Thanks bro!

whay are you so concerned with what we post in this thread..... we are not trying to convience you. You are certainly not going to convience us... so seeing we are not going to move on, why don't you take your own advice... and move on out this thread

I want one coach and if that doesn't happen I will consider others. I think Strong is hot right now but I don't have enough data on him to bring him here. One good season at Louisville looks like we are gambling again. That is just my opinion. I don't post in the Strong thread but may open up to it if it becomes a possibility.
