Knowing what I know, I fear this is just people talking "big". I do not doubt the story, but I know Tyler's family and if they knew something they would have said it in my presence this past weekend when we were all talking about it around them. Tyler's parents have not been in Knoxville since the Bama game and do not plan to return until Kentucky.

You think just the majority of the team is anti-Dooley or do you mean he whole bunch? I only ask because I know some have given unsolicited shows of support.
Did he ever win them back after last year or has this been a long term thing?

Yeah, I had found it. Thanks for the quote. This kind of stuff is thick and plenty. I've toned myself way down to thinking UT has a plan to try and do everything they can to get Gruden. I think they'll screw it up, to be honest. But maybe they can clean things up enough to sign somebody worthy.

I'm holding out hope until its just proven wrong. I may very well be wrong but there's to much gas on the fire to not have some truth to it. I've said it a million times in here but Gruden not saying anything at all about all the rumors is a good thing imo. He's just holding back waiting for the season to end and Dooley to be gone. If I am wrong I do think they will at least get a decent coach. Mullen, Strong, someone like that. Don't think the boosters will let the AD F things up again. Just my :twocents: bro

I can tell you from talking with a longtime neighbor who is a former Vol and close family friend at the Bama game, that the majority of the team does not respect Dooley.

At this point it is almost a question that goes without asking. I will say I have never heard a single player directly bash Dooley, but the same cannot be said for those very close to them. Friends, family, etc....
