Ainge has been talking bout wanting Trooper tailer back here involved somehow, am I mistaking or is he not in trouble right now for violating some NCAA rules and if he is which don't get me wrong he done good when he was here the first time but why would we want him back here just to get us in trouble again?

I thought it was sowe could get more "scars", and it was "part of the process". I was just getting the hang of this stuff and now I find I was wrong?

Could have been a giant FU. Just a thought. That is what a buddy of mine thought the minute it happened.

I agree. I think the Hart's wrasslin match ended with a knockout last Saturday. The stadium was half full at best.

On Basilio's blog this morning he is quoting an UTAD insider saying ticket scans at the turnstyles last weekend was 49,500.

hell naaaah

Now, do you guys believe that DD does not know everthing that is being discussed?

I can see that being the case. Even in situations where people have the best intentions, the top of the food chain doesn't discuss everything with the exiting employee...it really isn't necessary to expose everything and risk a leaky faucet.

absolutely not. we would still have the possibility of finishing 7-6 with a bowl w......HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I tried, but I couldn't

The hang up from the beginning of this is that according to sources, 8-4 Dooley returns. That bridge was burned after MSU (Bama was guaranteed loss). 7-5 would get an end of season eval. (made irrelevant by boosters, eval was already finished. Did not need to wait till end of season.) Loss to SC solidified. Now the appearance needs to be maintained, as long as 7-5 regular season holds, that the eval was done at end of season. (though the outcome has been determined) . A loss to Missouri or Vandy would mean 6-6 would be best outcome and Hart has no obligations to keep the appearance.

They are voting on UT Athletics to report to the Vice Chancellor, Scott Rabenold instead of to Jimmy Cheeks. This proposal is ironically by Cheeks.

Actual item they will be voting on:

I don't know who is interpreting this or what, but this has nothing to do with Dave Hart and Jimmy Cheek other than they proposed the agenda item. This is NOT changing the reporting structure for the entire AD.

In fact, after reading the agenda item, it is putting the development aspects MORE under Cheek's control, in line with the current AD reporting structure. Currently, it appears that some development folks in the AD report to the UT Foundation, which is a separate organization structurally from the university. This agenda item takes those AD development people and puts them under the Vice Chancellor for Development at UTK, which is a position that reports to the Chancellor at UTK - Jimmy Cheek. This has NOTHING to do with Dave Hart. In fact, I've been told this is changing the reporting structure from one development officer in the AD - NOT Dave Hart.

All those questions I saw in here the other day wondering why they would put Hart under Rabenold, or whatever his name is? Of course it doesn't make sense, that is why they would never do it. I will question the BOT, Chancellor and President all day long, but they aren't totally stupid and crazy enough to have Hart report to a relatively young, inexperienced nobody.

coach out the rest of the season and remain quiet... sorry... I was talking bout using Dooley as an interm coach or instead of

Oh yeah, I bet he would do that. Johnny did it, Phil did it, Joker is doing it...usually the coach feels he owes it to the team.

In college, more often than not, a fired coach will go ahead and finish out the season. He may, or may not, handle the bowl game. That is more of a 50/50 thing.

Hate to say it, but I dont see us making a bowl game. Lose tomorrow and against vandy imho
