BP is a winning coach but a scumbag personally. I could see him winning games here but I would also worry about future recruiting. How could he tell a recruits parents that I will look after your son and turn him into a outstanding young man after al the crap he has done. THere are a lot of parents that are involved in their son's recruitment and I don't think it would sit well with them.

This is my point. No matter how good a coach you are, you can't win without players and parents aren't gonna want their sons playing for this douche.

And it would make all of us look like scum bags b/c
we would be the ones to turn the other cheek(no pun)
on his lack of morals b/c he could win a few football games...we would then be at rock bottom...I think we are now,but if we hire him,someone just brought in some dynamite and made that hole deeper...

Interesting. We all are in agreement of course about wanting Gruden AND we all seem to be in agreement that Petrino is an awful idea. If the people on this thread can agree that Petrino is horrible idea that is one more reason I'm not buying that he is an option. We are the most rabid of UT fans and even WE don't want BP so how would the average fan that just likes going to games and tailgaiting but not as emotionally involved react?

I believe Wilcox vitriol will be aimed at Dooley. If Dooley is gone then Wilcox will say I knew that bum wouldn't make it.

My list and many wont like it. 1Gruden 2 Stoops 3 Franklin. And hell no on Patterson. not that good of recruited and we need a damn good one

We Tennesseans are very conservative,and we despise womanizers. Petrino is NOT coming to UT! except as coach of KY! He`d be a good coach in Yankeeland or California. Them folks don`t care about morality as much as Southerners.imho
