There was a point where it looked like Bama wouldn't get Saban. is this our Saban moment? Goodness, I hope so. We need a grand slam hire this time around.
This thread makes me feel more educated than the common fan about what's going on at our school, and for that I thank all those who have posted here. I hope we get this worked out, because I love UT and it physically hurts me to see us fall this far. Here's to hoping for a culture shift a return to the "good 'ole days" I grew up in. Go vols.
No, it's true. There were 99 offensive plays from scrimmage for Troy with only five of them going for touchdowns. So, the ball carrier was tackled on most of them.
I actually agree - our defense is so bad, I'm not sure slowing down the offense would help. If we want to avoid another losing season, we need to score as many points as we can as quickly as we can.

One person in the media. More than one person are talking about it overall. Its all I have heard all morning, not that he wants in the NFL specifically but that he has effectively said "no thanks". Most speculation as to the reason from people I know is the complete and utter turmoil within the AD when it comes to the football program and how the AD relates to academics. I am sure potential NFL openings may play a part.
