We need to stick with Dooley at least a couple more seasons before we make the Head Coaching job a revolving door and become a Vanderbilt or Kentucky for ever. Fulmer spioled us,we need to wake up and be patient with Dooley.. HE CAN DOO IT!!!! GOD BLESS ALL. Thanks for reading.

Here we go, followed this thread since Gruden I, first post... You have to be an idiot not to believe their is not an attraction on either side, for the Vols or in Gruden's camp.. I want to and also do believe Gruden is in play for the HC job.

Believe what you want...I don't post 100 times a day so ZERO e cred, troll, skip, whatever...Very good friend, (30 + years) with one of Nashville's top sports guys, if your in the Nashville market you know him.. and his source @ ESPN says Gruden is going no where.

My best friend from H.S...Old Cookeville money, enough $ his company has a sky box every year knows nothing.. His inside source changes the subject to deer hunting when Gruden comes up. He even asked me about Sean Payton being in play?

Lastly a high school friend/acquaintance/former teammate and UT grad with deep pockets attends every home game. Watches from the side lines during the game ( Not a former player). He won't say ANYTHING other than he loves the Vols and supports the team.

Respect to Jay,DTO,Boro,SBV,OldVol, OCI, etc..I want to believe its true.. The fans/players deserve something positive. 3 sources all with different stories or no comment.

If I could get just one of my sources to say 100% I would bet my child's life on it, I trust them all that much, but its 3 different stories,.. I want Gruden to come more than you can imagine, but realistically its a coin toss.

I have ate,slept, and breathed Tennessee football for almost 40 years and I'm nuttired of us being the laughing stock of the SEC. Our defense stinks because we've had 4 different coordinators in as many years,and 3 different head coaches in 5 years. I'm just saying we need some sort of stability for it to get better. If we keep changing coaches like they are dirty diapers "we will get worse". We are already seeing it. God bless.

Like Bama got worse ...oh wait a minute they kept firing till they got the right guy AND they got it more wrong than us for a long time. STABILITY is a cliche when it comes to college football. With the money being thrown around for these coaches they are free agents for the highest bidder. Stability is a myth nowadays in the sport. You have to pay a hired gun and hope he stays around for awhile.
