I have heard them say that if Dooley is fired Gruden would be contacted. That is a far cry from he is coming, a deal is done. In fact, I have heard more say that the rumors here are total crap.

lol... I heard he is crazy for homemade chocolate pies like Granny used to make.... You might dig around and find a really good recipe as a "just in case" type of thing"...

I hope youre right, but they aren't a monopoly. In fact, their hope is to increase traffic, so why not report it? If the rumors are true, they cant stop it. Right?

What penalty would they pay for reporting an incorrect rumor? If they are right their stock goes through the roof, so why not report it if there is a scentilla of proof?

Plus, IMO, there is a huge difference between telling someone over a beer that this "thing" is going on and an ESPN reporter shoving a microphone in your face.

No reporter would go around asking boosters about a thread on VolNation that is labelled "Rumors and Speculation".

They have said much more. Read the cliff notes thread. Even then there has been much more. They have all confirmed Gruden and UT are talking and more.

You just made the point, for both sides of the equation. That is why the "insiders" in this thread have said "believe or dont believe". They choose to believe the sources that they have spoken too. And I am sure that if this falls through, they would be sorely disappointed. I would cry and start drinkin. It is what it is.

They limit contact because he is under contract with them. Who do you think they'd rather have for ratings, Jaws or Chucky?

They've already answered that.

I'm more than sure Gruden has already not only been contacted but been keeping in contact with the Situation if e is interested in the job and booster are throwing figures at him. It may not be person to person but our peoples people with his peoples people
