Bray Leads SEC in TD's and Yards

Ugh everyone stop. A team with this defense cannot expect the QB to do everything for them. Sure, Bray has thrown picks but with this offense it is going to happen. McCarron hasn't because he doesn't need to throw downfield whereas Tennessee has to take deep shots to stay competitive in the game. Stat padding, my ass.

Remaining schedule is Missouri, Vandy and Kentucky. He could end up with the best year ever of a UT QB yet some people still think he sucks. Peyton threw for 3,287 his Jr yr and then 3819 his Sr yr. Bray needs to average 158.3 yds per game to throw for more yards than Peyton in his Jr yr and average 335.66 over the last 3 games to be the single season all time leader. I am not sure if Peyton's numbers had a bowl game or not but if it does bray might not have a problem being the all time single season leader IF we go to a bowl. I am not saying he is Better than Peyton but it amazes me how unappreciative our fans are of one of the best QB's to ever wear orange. If he had half the defense Peyton had he would already have a street named after him.

So what? You almost lost to Troy. He hasn't beaten anyone. He does suck.

Bray is not the best, nor is he the worst. Yes i believe if you put worley in, we wouldn't have nearly the number he is at. But i more view Bray as a Junior that NEEDS to come back for his senior year. With the proper coaching the sky is the limit. Pretty much what every draft analyst has said for the past year. But to say that Bray passing for 530 yards against Troy doesn't matter because it is Troy is just absurd. And his recievers dropped alot of well thrown deep balls. So that in a way negates the argument that his recievers made him look better.

Peyton Manning is one of the best quarterbacks ever. Bray has the potential to be very good but it seems his work ethic is holding him back. However, I will agree that the Defense is the glaring problem with this team.

These kind of quotes are what kills me. How do you know he does not have work ethic? He is the best QB in the SEC right now.

Can't check off at the line or check down in play because he doesn't do any homework. Other than appearing lazy and back foot throws, kid is a natural.

Yeah, stats are only part of being a QB. He's got the stats. I am not putting all the late-game failures on his back either, but he is not always the leader we need.

We forget sometimes that Peyton did not win some of his big games either. It just helps to have a QB who can run, when the passing game breaks down. Against really good defensive teams this becomes really important.

You HAVE to have a defense! Has nothing to do with having a mobile QB.

He admitted in the postgame interview that he wasn't going to watch the 2nd half of the Florida game. What does that tell you?

Then Chaney said he set and watched the film with him personally. Bray is actually pretty funny in all his interviews. You never know when he is serious.

Who has he beaten. He quit against Kentucky and Florida. He said it himself. The only stat that counts is wins and loses. Please tell me again who he has beaten? He lite Troy up. I have been saying this all year. Troy was going to catch his best. Cupcake was on.
